Boxes for Motifs in Art History
A work of art is the externalisation of an idea. Henri Defauw and the OZW generate 1:1 scale packaging for ideas from art history. His work consists of measuring motifs and then designing boxes for them. Like any good packaging, this box will not only protect the product, but also seduce us and attract us to it. The artwork is exhibited, the packaging is also exhibited. An autonomous work, sustainable packaging for flowers, clothing, manifestos within art history... All these ideas within the visual arts thus remain safely protected in their packaging, without wasting material.
Good ideas, excellently packaged: the Office for Zero Waste.
